We are an alliance of everyday investor advocates
Our Advocacy
We take on important issues to create change at individual companies, investment funds, and in public policy to level the playing field for everyday investors like us
INDIVIDUAL COMPANIES
We engage individual companies on specific environmental, social, and governance issues to reduce their impacts and improve their sustainability while making them better investment options.
INVESTMENT FUNDS
Since everyday investors don't have a real say in how the mutual funds and ETFs they own are run, we work to ensure that material environmental, social, and governance issues are effectively addressed by fund managers.
PUBLIC POLICY
We want to make retirement a reality for everyone. Right now, it's not available to many Americans. We work to change public policy so that sustainable investing is easier for everyday investors while we make saving for retirement better and fairer for workers.
Why we engage in advocacy
Nearly 90% of employees that invest in their retirement plan want options that align with their values - like fighting climate change, promoting human rights, and limiting political spending
Shareholders play an important role in making companies and our economy fairer and more sustainable
Everyday investors that save money through a company retirement plan like a 401k do not have a practical option for advocacy
The current system leaves indirect owners, including most everyday investors, stuck without a simple way to voice our values
Sustainable investing advocacy by experienced advocates,
not bankers
